You will purchase a mobile telephone at your own expense, and be responsible for its contract and cancellation, and to provide the number to the School.
The acquisition of a visa, a decision of the living address, and alien registration are required.
The cost of a mobile telephone varies by its function, and ranges from a low of 1,000 Yen up to 30,000 Yen.
The Japanese staff will cooperate for the purchase of the phone.
It is not recommended that you call friends and family back home on your cell phone. It will be incredibly expensive and you will quickly use up all your minutes on your plan.
A better option is to get a calling card, and to use a payphone.
Calling cards can be found in Metropolis Magazine, or can be purchased at convenience stores.
