Salary and Visa
Visa
To get a work visa from the Japanese government, we sponsor the teacher and must submit the followings;
a copy of college diploma,
official college transcripts (Original, not a copy),
and a copy of passport photo page, along with two passport photos.
Salary
The first three months at 240,000 Yen/month;next six months the salary will be raised to an average amount of 255,000 Yen/ month; thereafter an average amount of 270,000 Yen/month.
The amount of raise could be higher or lower which will be based on job performance.
For those who already have a teaching visa and have more than one year teaching experience in Japan, the salary will be from 250,000 Yen/month to 330,000 Yen/month.
Income tax
National income tax deduction is approximately 4%.
Working Schedule
Teachers work 35 hours per week, five days a week. We teach 27 classes a week (50 minutes per class), including baby classes (1-3 years old), pre-school, elementary, junior and senior high school students, and adult classes. There is a Japanese co-teacher in the room for baby, pre-school, elementary and junior high school classes. The maximum class is ten students.
Vacation and Days Off
The school is closed from December 23 to January 05, and April 29 to May 05, these are paid vacation periods as explained in the contract.
National holidays are paid days off as explained in the contract.
Housing
The school has single-occupancy studio apartments available for the teachers. Housing, insurance and other deductions are shown to candidates who send us the necessary application documents.
